What your interiors are made of

Plain-language guide to the materials we use, the difference between Standard and Premium, and how to care for your new home.

Standard vs Premium

Compare the two finishes

Both are built to the same sizes and design. Premium upgrades what you see and touch. The exact brands and shades are listed in your proposal.

Good to know

BWP plywood

Plywood bonded with boiling-water-proof resin. It resists moisture far better than MR-grade ply or particle board, which matters in Indian kitchens and monsoon humidity.

Marine plywood

Used where water is constant — under sinks, in bathroom vanities and on balconies.

Laminate

Hard-wearing, easy to clean and available in hundreds of colours and textures. Matt hides fingerprints; gloss reflects light.

Acrylic & PU

High-gloss or super-matt seamless finishes for a premium look. They need a little more care than laminate.

Soft-close hardware

Hinges and channels that close gently and quietly — included as standard in our kitchens and wardrobes.

Gypsum false ceiling

Smooth ceilings that hide wiring and allow cove lighting, spot lights and AC routing. Priced at ₹80 per sq ft.

Choosing materials

How selection works

  1. Your designer shares shortlists of laminates, handles and finishes that suit your 3D design.
  2. You see physical samples before deciding.
  3. Choices are written into the material board and the design approval sheet you sign.
  4. The proposal lists them, so what is approved is what gets built.
Care

Looking after your interiors

  • Wipe laminate and acrylic with a soft damp cloth — no abrasive scrubbers.
  • Dry spills near the sink and hob quickly, especially at edges.
  • Do not overload drawers beyond normal kitchen use.
  • Keep wardrobes ventilated in the monsoon; use moisture absorbers if needed.
  • Tell us early if a hinge or channel needs adjustment — it is a quick fix.
